Fidra island is said to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson‘s book “Treasure Island’.
A little about me... I’ve been playing ukulele for a few years and with a strong desire to understand how things work, it wasn’t long before I started making them. Building ukuleles satisfies my need to build something useful, to continually learn new skills while developing strong design and engineering principles. To be creative and express myself. After living and working in London for the past 10 years, my family and I have moved back to Scotland and have set up home and a studio. I’m also a working artist who draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, which also seeps in into my ukuleles. I live only a short walk from Fidra island!
