John G is Team Leader and design specialist. He is an avid collector of senior rescue dogs and general work-o-holic (so long as the task in some way involves ukuleles).

John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and played professionally in the US Navy Band. He was introduced to the ukulele while stationed at Pearl Harbor, HI. This exposure spawned a lifelong love of the instrument that lit the spark that would become Sparrow Instruments.
John has 15 years of musical intrument repair under his belt, and has been building guitars and ukes since 2014. He is pationate about woodworking, digital design and teaches the CNC class at Woodcraft in Richmond, Virginia.
