Key Signatures - Eb Major and C Minor
Eb major or E flat major is a major scale based on E flat, consisting of the pitches Eb, F, G, Ab, Bb, C, and D. Its key signature has three flats: Bb, Eb, and Ab.

E flat major is often associated with bold, heroic music, in part because of Beethoven's usage.

How to Identify the Key
To identity a flat (♭) key based on the Key Signature , you can look at the second flat from the last flat – that is the key. This works on the flat key signatures of Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, and Cb. The Key of F has only one flat, Bb and that you just have to memorize without this little trick. Cb has ALL flats.
