Midwest Guitar Repair and Building School offers a full array of stringed instrument repair, servicing, and customizing as well as handmade acoustic and electric stringed instruments for sale. These instruments are crafted in-house on Cherokee Street using the the finest tone woods available.
They also provide lessons in both guitar playing and building. In fact Midwest Guitar Repair and Building School is the only Luthiers school in the central Midwest with students from around the globe coming to study the luthiers craft. Classes range from a one year, long term study program to a three hour class that focuses on specialized areas of interest.
