Michelle Kiba, the ’Ukulele Lady, is a music therapist, music educator, singer/songwriter and band leader of the Tiki Tones. She sings lead vocals, plays ‘ukulele, guitar and percussion. Her musical preferences include an eclectic collection of light jazz, blues, swing, tin pan alley, folk and her specialty is Hawaiian music. She had produced 3 studio Cds, a live album and several songbooks that also include audio reference Cds. Michelle teaches multiple ukulele and guitar classes every week in San Jose and Santa Cruz. She is frequently invited to teach workshops not only across the country but also internationally in Australia and Japan.
