It is well balanced as there are no over-powering bass or treble. Good in the mid-range and the feel is soft. Slightly thinner than Aquila, the tension is also not as hard and the finish is smooth. Volume produced is not as loud or as bright as Aquila but if a slightly mellow tone is what you’re after, then this is a good alternative. Works well with solid-top ukes.
