Small dedicated advanced players forum for performing swing and light jazz music. We take good solid intermediate instrumentalists into the realm of advanced solo performing skills. We perform locally to a variety of audiences to include senior citizens, youth groups, and public venues. This is an all volunteer group. Membership into the Boise USO is through audition only. We are looking for dedicated instrumentalists.

Leonard’s Obituary Leonard Young passed away October 9, 2007, while fishing with his brother; an activity in which he reveled since he was a child, with a man who he loves dearly.

Having spent the greater part of my adult life exercising the left side of my brain–I received a PhD in American Studies at the University of Iowa and have taught at various colleges for the past 20 years–I decided several years ago it was time to strike a balance. I began to pursue a long-time interest in woodworking and have since been laboring toward a total career shift. With any luck, I’ll have achieved that shift before I reach retirement age.
