Suitable for any instrument.</p> <h6>The Aeolian or Natural Minor</h6> <p>The <strong>Aeolian</strong> scale has become the most common minor scale used in contemporary music. Examples are Kurt Cobain and Phil Collins.</p> <p>The Aeolian scale consists of the following intervals (based on a major scale) Root, 2, b3, 4, 5, b6, b7 and octave.</p> <p>The following chord progressions use the chords of A Aeolian. The A Aeolian scale consisting of the notes A B C D E F G A' can be used to solo over each progression.</p>
