Performance Notes for All the Things You Are
Here's how I remember the melody of All the Things You Are:
- All the Things You Are moves through several keys with the chords following a cycle of fourths in two sections. Fm7, Bbm7, Eb7, Abmaj7, Dbmaj7
- The Dbmaj7 goes up a half step to Dm which is a II V I of the next key, C major
- The Cmaj7 turns into Cm7 and a cycle of fourths follows, an one and on.
