The Big Six Core Chords - Fdim7, Four Voicings

The Big Six Core Chords, Level I - Fdim7, four voicings. Fdim7 is a 1 b3 b5 bb7 of the major scale, based on the root of the chord.

These are the four Fdim7 chord voicings that will be used for deriving other diminished seventh based chords. There are far too many chord shapes to memorize thousands of shapes.

Note: all four voicing of the diminished seventh chord are the same. As a chord with equal distant intervals, ANY one of the note in the chord of a diminished chord can be the root. That info and knowing the notes of the ukulele fingerboard are all that is needed for this chord to transpose it to different keys.

Just browsing over both books, they look fantastic! I'm a guitarist and uke player for over 25 years and was thinking about writing a ukulele book but you've already written what I think are the best, most comprehensive and thorough books I've ever seen for the instrument. I just might end up buying every book you've written and I'll be giving my highest recommendation for your books to my friends and students. Thank you so much for taking the time to write such great books!Peter Rhee
