World of Ukes is registered business name for a number of activities, including UKE Magazine and Ukulele Events. It is also the name of the online and retail store for high end, specialist and exotic ukuleles, based in Carlisle. You can view the selection of soprano ukuleles, concert ukuleles, tenor ukuleles and baritone and bass ukuleles online, or in the store.
The store is managed by Matt, who aims to deliver impeccable service, ukulele knowledge and some of the finest ukes in the world. (This is Matt, writing this about myself! He is also 6 foot 2 and very handsome... oh stop it!). World of Ukes has a showroom with a boutique feel, where you can visit and take your time to try the instruments in a comfortable and unhurried atmosphere. There's good quality coffee and comfy chairs too!
Matt is the editor of UKE Magazine, the UK's dedicated, printed ukulele magazine. He performs as Fuddle in the ukulele trio, Feckless, Fuddle and the Prince. And along with Andy Webster, operates Ukulele Events - providing ukulele lifetime experiences.
